To strengthen our existing team at a Telco client in Brussels, we are looking for:
Test engineer (m/f)
The main tasks are:
- Transform the data transformation descriptions in the analysis documents in test cases based
on SQL.
- Detect missing information in analysis documents and the differences with standard guidelines
for the project, and quickly find the areas with high risk of defects.
- Assist the lead tester in defining test strategy, proposing improvements in the testing
process.
We expect from you:
- A degree in IT: a minimum of 2 years professional experience, of which at least 1 year in testing and/or data
modeling and/or SQL development
- To have any relevant experience with working in a data warehousing environment would be a
very important asset.
- Data minded. Good knowledge of data modeling and good to very good knowledge of SQL.
- Analytical mindset.
- Expertise in testing or clear willingness to become a test expert.
- Collaborative attitude, both towards the analysts and developers, as well as being a good
team player.
- To speak fluently English or French or Dutch.
- Tools used: Mercury Quality Center, Teradata SQL
